
Creek Valley senior, Jentry Snell, has decided to continue her education at Hastings College. She will be joining the dance team and majoring in Nursing. We are so excited for you, Jentry!


Due to continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, CVS will have a two hour late start tomorrow, Thursday, February 23, 2023. This includes the childcare and preschool. No morning activities. Transportation will run accordingly, which means two hours later.

Due to the predicted winter storm, Creek Valley Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The childcare and preschool will also be closed.

Due to the predicted weather forecast MAC Speech which was scheduled for February 22 at Leyton, will be rescheduled for Saturday, February 25 at Alliance. More information will be available later in the week.

Congratulations to Seth Wilber for breaking the Creek Valley single-game scoring record with 38 points last night in the first round of Sub Districts against Minatare.

Due to Wallace's low numbers, there will be NO JV on Friday, 2/17. Varsity will begin at 5:30 Mountain Time.

Come join us in sending off the girls' cheer and dance team on 2/16 at 3:15. Send-off will follow the regular route.


Four students traveled to Wesleyan and participated in the 2023 Honors Festival. Students worked with clinicians who were also the composers of several of the pieces that they played or sang. While in Lincoln students were also able to relax and have some friendly competition.

Our high school girls basketball team will have their first subdistrict game on Tuesday, 02/14, in Paxton at 5:00pm. The bracket is posted below. GO STORM!

Ella N had the opportunity to perform in the Chadron State College High Plains Honor Choir this evening, along with about 60 other students from Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming. She, along with two other singers, were honored for performing with the choir all four years of high school. Congrats Ella!


Tonight's basketball games vs. Leyton will have the following schedule: 4:00pm - One quarter JV Boys. 4:15pm - line up for girls basketball & dance parents night. The girls varsity game will follow. During the 4th quarter of the girls varsity, parents please line up for boys basketball parents night. We will conclude the night with our boys varsity game. LETS GO STORM!

South Platte will be hosting the 2023 JH MAC Basketball tournament. Girls games will be played in Brule and boys games will be played in Big Springs. The boys will play first on Thursday, February 9th against South Platte at 10:00am. The girls will play against Banner County on Thursday at 11:00am.

Change in Schedule for High School Basketball.
The girl's game against Cody-Kilgore will now be on Thursday, Feb 2nd, starting at 5 PM instead of Saturday, 2/4.
The Boy's Basketball Game on 2/4 against Peetz will start JV at 1:00 PM. The boys will play one-quarter of JV, followed by boys varsity.

Our JV girls basketball team will play in Potter, tomorrow, January 31 @ 3:00pm. Our JV boys will play the following game at 4:15pm. Their opponents will be determined after the games played today.

Due to low numbers the JV game against Potter-Dix has been cancelled. The JV teams will play tomorrow times will be posted later.

The Creek Valley Dance Team are Lexington Comp High Kick Champions! The team finished first ahead of Loup City, Sidney, and Lexington, with a score of 49.75 out of 50. They were also runner-up in Jazz. Way to go Storm! Congrats girls and coaches!
