In our first game, starting at 5 pm, the Storm will be taking on the Warriors from Leyton. Game two will follow, with Potter-Dix taking on Garden County. NOTICE OF BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that a Board special meeting of
the Board of Education, Creek Valley Schools, School
District #25, will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, at
4:00 p.m. in the Creek Valley Elementary School Library at
the Creek Valley Elementary School in Chappell, Nebraska,
for the purpose of selecting an Energy Service Company for
our High School HVAC Project.
Such meeting is open to the public. An agenda for such
meeting, continuously current, is available for public
inspection during normal business hours at the office of
the Superintendent of Schools, however, such Agenda may be
modified at said meeting.

The MAC Junior High Basketball tournament that was scheduled for tomorrow, 02/13, has been moved to Wednesday, 02/17.
Due to weather conditions tonight's basketball games against South Platte have been cancelled. Only the boys will reschedule for Monday, 02/15, at 6pm in Big Springs.

It's time for some JH MACtion! The Junior High MAC Basketball Tournament will be taking place in Lodgepole and Chappell today and Saturday. Our boys will play at 10:15 am in Lodgepole, at the PAC, and the girls will play at 10:15 am in Chappell. Go Storm!

Members of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades competed in the Deuel County Spelling Bee yesterday, held in the high school gym. Two representatives from each class were selected to represent CVS in the oral competition, using a written portion qualifier. Students had some difficult words, but gave it their all in the competition.

Ella Ningen participated in the CSC High Plains Honor Choir on February 1st and 2nd, along with 21 other singers from Western Nebraska, Southwest South Dakota, and Northeast Wyoming. The performance was a bit different this year due to COVID, with only 1/3 of the normal participants, but the group sounded great.
