Mr. Russell's 7th grade class and Information Technology students worked with Ms. Dusty's class to make monsters come to life!! The preschoolers drew up monster pics, then shop students 3d modeled them in TinkerCAD and used the 3d printer to print them out. The printer works by using coiled PLA filament made from recycled plastic. It heats the filament and extrudes it in layers to create the shapes in real life. TinkerCAD is an online tool we've been learning to used that's great for learning drafting in a 3D environment.
CVS 6 & 7th grade students toured Ash Hollow interpretive center, cave and cemetery, saw some cranes, hiked Windlass Hill and cleaned up the beach at Cedar View @ Lake Mac. Busy day!!
4-H Archery Shooters,
We will have a meeting/practice on Monday, April 1st at the 4-H building. Bring your bows if you have your own and we will make any adjustments needed and get everyone ready to go. We will also make sure everyone’s paperwork and online registration is complete. Come anytime between 5-6:30 pm.
Beginning April 8th, we will have practice from 5-7 pm at the sandpit north of town, weather permitting. 30 minutes per shooter is usually enough time per night. We are looking forward to getting started.
