Creek Valley Public Schools serves the communities of Sunol, Lodgepole, Chappell, and everything in between in three counties of the Nebraska panhandle. We are good at what we do and, like our students, look to get better each day. I am very excited to lead an organization of caring and hard-working people who live out our mission to "Prepare Today's Kids for Tomorrow's Future."

I've spent the past 35 years working in education with eleven years as a classroom teacher and 24 as a principal. I've served in everything from larger suburban schools to very tiny rural schools in Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, and now in Nebraska. I earned my first college degree from Linfield University in Oregon and have since earned degrees and certifications from the University of Portland, Washington State University, and the University of Wyoming. Tanya and I have been married since 1989 and have two older children. Ben is a University of Wyoming Electrical Engineering graduate working on super-secret defense projects in Maryland. Eleanor is a student at the University of Wyoming studying Social Work. You might meet Tanya working as the co-Clerk/Treasurer in Lodgepole. On top of that important work she is an amazing quilter, baker, tech support, and graphic designer.

I love my Linfield Wildcats, Seattle Mariners, Seattle Sounders soccer, and the Seahawks. Don't get me started about the Broncos. Out of the office I'm a football official and drummer. I like to fiddle around with home projects at our older home in Chappell. We love living in a community where we can walk to so many things and meet so many friendly people.
